CryOut Poetry & Arts Gallery was established in January 2018 to cater to the Poetry and Arts Community of Newark. The Founder, Mayowa Godsent has been curating & hosting Shows in New Jersey for about 8 years and found it so hard to find a stable venue. Fulfilling the need for this community to have a place to call home and their own.

About the founder
Olumayowa "GODSENT" Okubanjo is primarily a simple man destined to lead. Born in Nigeria, in West Africa, He is a Business Administration Graduate of New Jersey City University. A 2019 Masters in Business Graduate of New England College of Business at Cambridge University. An Entrepreneur, Event Organizer, Financial Educator, Host, Poet, & Founder of CRYOUT Arts & Poetry Gallery (also known as CryOut Cave): & Owner of THE HEART BALLROOM (www.theheartballrom.com) in Newark NJ. Most importantly, he is a vessel passionate about people, desires to see everybody win and open to anyways God chooses to use his gifts, wisdom, experience and talents.
